Hot Cross Bun and Butter Pudding

This scrumptious dessert will keep your guests wanting to come back for more.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Halve the buns and butter them
  2. Place in a corning wear dish (about 2L)
  3. Soak the buns in the liqueur in the dish
  4. Scatter the Jam, chocolate and Raspberries in the dish
  5. In a sperate bowl whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar and vanilla together until mixed/ combined and thickened (and sugar is mostly dissolved)
  6. Pour custard over the buns
  7. With the sugar that didn’t dissolve, drizzle this over the buns with the crosses
  8. Bake in a water bath at 160 for 40min
  9. Rest on the bench for 5min
